KD1082 - Alpha Doodle 2 - Edge to Edge

Create a custom look with this repeatable pattern featuring a single line of alphabet.

Provided as one, long repeatable design, this pattern is designed to be broken up into custom segments to fit you specific quilt. Use it as an edge to edge pattern, or stitch it continuously "around" the border of a quilt for a unique look. Pattern is provided 5" high x 100" wide. We sewed it out as small as 3" and as large as 7.5" with good results. It is particularly attractive in smaller sizes (although it can be rather dense) and benefits from using contrasting thread.

KD1083 - This Little Piggie 1 - E2E

Our prancing little piggie is charming and fast sewing.

Provided 7" tall, we successfully sewed this pattern from 4" to 9". It is charming yet quick to sew. For best results, every other row should be stagged/offset 50%.

KD1084 - Chicken Little 1 - E2E

A cute, effective, background fill for a childs quilt.

Provided 7" high, this pattern is designed to be offset/staggered 50% every other row. It is very fast sewing and can be sewn from 3" to 8" with good results. We recommend smaller sizes for baby quilts as this pattern gives good coverage without being overly stiff or "thready"

Provided 7" tall, we tested this pattern from 3.5" to 8" with good results. Smaller sizes are great for a circus themed baby quilt where you need a pattern that takes a short time to sew out. This pattern 'naturally' interlocks to create a pleasing background when every other row is flipped on width.

KD1086 - My Little Lion 1 - E2E

The 'King' of the Beasts in an Edge to Edge pattern for the younger set.

This is an 'Easy Fit' pattern which is designed to be sewn out row after row with no additional spacing or overlap between rows. It has a 'natural' curve which gives it the appearance of being an interlocking pattern and creates a beautiful background fill easily. Provided 8" tall, we tested this pattern from 4" to 10" with great results.

KD1087 - Baby Zebra Portrait - E2E

A charming edge to edge to edge baby/child's pattern!

Provided 8" tall, we tested from 4" to 11" with no issues, although we personally prefer it in smaller sizes for baby quilts. While no extra space or overlap is required between rows, the pattern should either be FLIPPED on width, OR staggered/offset 50% every other row. The natural interlock will take care of creating a background of even coverage.

ARGGGGH! A pirate's life isn't complete without a good quilt!

Provided at 10.4" high, this pattern sewed out great from 8" to 15" high. Pattern is Easy Fit - which means it can be sewn out row after row with no additional space or overlap between rows However there is room of a slight amount of overlap if a tighter look is desired. There is no overstitching and the pattern sews out surprisingly fast.

10 capivating motif patterns for custom quilting.

This collection of motifs is provided at various sizes, but the largest dimension of each is approximately 6". They can be sewn out as small as half the provided size, or as large as 1.5X the provided size. The scroll is left blank so that you can insert an initial customizing the quilt further for a special pirate! We did some great layouts using the cannon as a border and rotating the spyglass and cutlass and using those as a narrow border. This is a fun package and the patterns can be used in a variety of ways.

KS1001 - Leaf Border 1 - Kim Stotsenber 'Just Leaf It' Collection

The first in a series of patterns from the 'Just Leaf It' Collection

This border set offers a lot of versatility. Kim has included 2 different corners, 3 different 'bridges' (center connectors) plus a variation, a 'terminator" (little swirl to end a pattern), and both a SHORT and a LONG repeat! All of the patterns fit together like puzzle pieces to create a wonderful custom border or sash! Some of the patterns even offer a bit of a free-motion flavor and do not feature precise overstitching. The patterns are all proportioned to a 5" high border. Be sure to resize them by the same % when combining them in your quilts.
