For those of you who got specials on all those great chicken fabrics (and other farm theme fabrics) they have been clearing out at the local quilt store, here is a versatile pattern that will help you find the perfect fit. 4 different continuous border patterns feature wire in different width. 3 different motifs feature varying density, and a pair of allover patterns create an adaptable horizontal version that can be sewn to fit almost any size quilt. AO1017 - Fan Loops 1 - All Over, Border and Motif

Interlocking clam shell style fans are created with gentle loops and have an oriental flavor

Three patterns: two continuous border that also interlock for an all over pattern and a complementary motif. All are fast sewing with gentle, curved loops and no overstitching. REDIGITIZED at 10" for all formats PLUS 5" for in PC Quilter format.

AO1018 - Clam-Mouring 1

Three different allover patterns in the popular clamshell style

These three patterns will all nest if offset/staggered at 50% every other row. The palm leaf is provided at 10" tall, and the feather and spring are provided at 8" tall in all 4 formats. A special 5" version of the feather and spring are provided for the PC Quilter.

AO1020 - Lacey Swirls 1 in Two Sizes

Loose swirls of lace sew out very quickly and have great coverage

This simple lace pattern is provided at 8" tall. It sews extremely fast and looks great at a variety of sizes - from 4" up to 12"! Best of all it is not overly fussy when it comes to overlap so you can adjust the pattern density to get the look you want.

AO1021 - Stylized Victorian Peacock Feather 1

Use as a border or All Over pattern. Special instructions make it easy to line up the second (and even) row.

Based on traditional Victorian motifs, this pattern has no over stitching and is provided 10" high in all 3 formats. It is also effective sewn smaller. Use Row 1 alone as a border, or line up the start of row 2 a mere 1/2" above the start of the first row, and the pattern interlocks (or nests) beautifully.

AO1022 - Allover Peacock Fans

A wonderful twist on an all-over feather pattern featuring stylized peacock feather fans.

This dense pattern is great for a border or as an allover pattern. It has lots of overstitching in between the feathers and while it does not sew out overly quickly, you can sew out at a higher speed because there are no "switch backs". Supplied 12" high, it is not recommended that you do not sew out at 5" unless you test it first. I tried it at 5" as a border on the hem of a skirt with metallic thread and it looked fabulous!

AO1023 - Apple Slices with Variation

Fast sewing apple slices feature stem, seeds and leaves.

Two options make this fast sewing pattern more versatile. Sew the main file row after row OR alternate the main row with the 'alt' file for more variation. Pattern interlocks very easily with no offset necessary. Vary the spacing in between rows from a 1/4" to an inch depending desired density.

AO1024 - Passion for Gardening 1

A 3 row pattern interlocking pattern - no offset necessary!

Garden implements connecting by a gently meandering line are fast sewing yet still have detail. Sew the rows in order - the main pattern, then row 2 and row 3. Place your needle a quarter to a half inch inside the previous row so that the patterns interlock. You can also use the same row over and over again.

AO1025 - Tomato Tango - All Over or Border

Pattern interlocks slightly with no offset. Instructions for spacing included in pattern comments.

Plump (and rosy red) tomatoes amidst leafy vines with tendrils. Great for a cooking or kitchen quilt. Pattern provided 10" high for all formats plus a special 5" high version for PC Quilter.

AO1026 - Very Cherry - All Over or Border

Great coverage in this fast sewing pattern with no overstitching

Bunches of cherries interlock to form a fast sewing pattern that is moderately dense depending on the size you sew out. Comments are included in the pattern file so that you can space the rows so that they interlock. Pattern is provided 8" high but resizes nicely from 4" - 14"

AO1027 - Starry, Starry Nights 1

Swirling stars create a background worthy of a masterpiece

A great choice for a fireworks type quilt or one with an artistic flair. Try metallics or variagated for a real splash! Pattern is supplied at 10" high, but can be also sewn smaller. To make sure you get the points on the ends of the lines, be sure to adjust your tension. You might also wish to sew out slightly slower. An alternate row is provided to allow the pattern to interlock properly.

This pattern is provided in all major formats. You can sew either version of this two line pattern over and over again OR alternate the rows and nest the patterns for two different looks. You can also use a single line and adjust the pattern ("offsetting" every other row) as opposed to using the alternate row. All versions are provided 5 inches high and resize well.

An edge to edge interlocking pattern that sews out moderately fast. There is very little overstitching and good coverage. 4 pattern files formats provided with notes on sewing.

AO1041 - Lilies in the Water 1

Fast sewing and elegant! This pattern is designed to be sewn as an all over design and "naturally" interlocks, so no spacing or overlap is necessary between rows. Provided 10" high PLUS an additional 5" version for the PC Quilter.

AO1043 - Swirling Waters 1 - E2E

By request, a smaller "water only" version of our popular waterlily pattern.

A short repeat that is "hidden" make this a great pattern. When sewn row after row with no space in between rows, the water appears to zigzag across the quilt. Effective sewing range is 5" to 10" high. Pattern is provided at 10" for easy resizing.

AO1044 - Tile Flowers - Clam Shell Type Pattern

A simple all over pattern based on antique tiles.

This pattern is a simplified version of OR1034 and is based on an antique hand-painted tile. Kris designed both of the patterns to be very practical, yet elegant and they certainly have many uses. Provided 8" high, this pattern is just under 8" in width. It can be sew out practically as small as 5" and as large as 12".

AO1045 - Jacobean Wonder 1 E2E

A stunning pattern that is elegant, yet fast sewing.

No over stitching in this pattern is a definite plus! It maintains it's elegance while still being fast sewing and not overly complex! Provided 12" high, it will sew out nicely from 8" - 15". While larger or smaller sizes might be fine, we encourage you to test them first. Pattern has a generous overlap and good coverage.
