8 wonder portraits to be used for quilting or faux embroidery

These patterns are wonderful to feature in plain blocks with contrasting thread. Use multiple threads to create faux embroidery or simply use the patterns to fill in odd shapes on a custom quilt. It is always a struggle to find designs that are not hidded by the background stitching and connecting lines. This one is a definite winner! Provided 12" high, we tested sew outs from 6" to 15" with satisfactory results. Pattern is designed to be sewn row after row and overlap is minimal.

AN1060 - Life In a Fish Bowl

Our trio of shells will sew out in record time! Provided 10" tall, there is no overstitching on this pattern. It interlocks slightly and creates very even coverage. We tested this pattern as small as 4" and as big as 14" with no issues.

AN1062 - Seahorses1 - E2E

Fast sewing seahorses in an interlocking pattern.

You'll be surprised how fast this pattern sews out. There is no overstitching and the interlock keeps the coverage fairly even. Provided 10" tall, we tested from 7" to 16" with good results.

AN1063 - Snappy Sea Turtle - E2E

A fluid, free motion style pattern that sews out quickly

This turtle is provided 8" tall and we tested him from 5" to 11" with excellent results. There is a gentle interlock and the resulting quilting is relatively even coverage.

AN1064 - Simple African Antelope - E2E

Great, fairly even coverage in an exotic theme

With no overstitching, this pattern is very deceiving. Despite the look of a single repeat, it interlocks beautifully creating a solid edge to edge pattern with fairly even stitching. It is designed to be sewn out row after row with no space between rows as it "naturally" interlocks both horizontally and vertically! A wonderful alternative to some of our more complex patterns. Provided 10" high, we tested the pattern from 5" to 12" with no issues.

AN1065 - Raining Cats and Dogs 1

A pattern for animal lovers of ALL ages

This fun pattern is provided 8" tall and includes an alternate row for more variety! It is an Easy Fit pattern which means it can simply be sewn row after row with no spacing between rows to create a pleasing background fill. It has been tested from 5" to 12" with good results.

AN1066 - Monkey Shines 1 - Edge to Edge

This fun pattern has minimal overstitching.

The monkeys are on the loose and tumbling over your quilt in this novel pattern suitable for the young or young at heart. It has very even coverage and gives a whimsical appearance to almost any quilt. Provided 10" high, we tested it from 7" to 15" with great results. Smaller is fairly dense, so please test before deciding.

AN1067 - Interlocking Horseshoes 1 - A 2-row E2E Pattern

A fast-sewing two-row pattern that can also be sewn row after row.

A simple pattern for when the focal point is to be the piecing or the fabric. Sews very quickly. Pattern is provided in two rows and is most effective when they are sewn alternately. When sewn row after row, there are definite vertical repeats. Provided 5" tall, it was tested from 3" to 7" with good results.

AN1068 - Wild Stallion 1 - Interlocking E2E

A fast-sewing, yet detailed pattern

No overstitching make this pattern fast to sew despite the detail. Provided 10" high, we tested from 7" to 13" with good results. While coverage is slightly uneven, the effect is truly stunning. Great for a western quilt or horse lover!

AN1071 - Fancy Cat 3 - Running - Narrow Border or E2E

A quick and easy pattern that sews out row after row with no additional adjustments to spacing required. It can also be offset/staggered by 50%, in which case, a slight overlap is more attractive! The pattern is provided 5" tall and recommended sewing sizes are 3" - 7.5". It is a great choice for wall hangings or other small quilts where a large pattern would not work. This pattern is also a great choice for short arm sewing heads. We found this pattern especially useful in narrow borders!

AO1001 - Nesting Waves - an All-Over Pantograph

4 quick sewing wave patterns with no overstitching feature nautical, flame and flourish type patterns.

These 4 patterns are the perfect addition to any quilter's collection! Three are complete nesting patterns and require NO SPACE between rows, and in fact, can be sewn closer together than the actual pattern depth. Two require minimal space between rows. There is NO OVERSTITCHING and therefore these patterns sew VERY quickly. There are two WAVE type patterns, one flame-type pattern and yet another with florishes.

AO1002 - Loop Lace No. 1 - Nesting Pantograph

A simple, yet elegant loop lace produces an exceptional pattern with rows that nest (interlock).

Fast sewing lace pattern has no overstitching and produces a pattern than interlocks/nests perfectly. A good choice for a quilt you want to finish quick, yet have it look like you fussed with the quilting endlessly! REDIGITIZED at 5" and 10" for all formats.

AO1005 - Grape and Vine Interlocking Pantograph

An incredibly elaborate pattern with overstitched "tendrils". Interlocks from row to row with offset.

A traditional look with a modern twist. This grape vine pattern creates an ornate diamond shape interlocking pattern when every other row is offset by 50%. Used by itself, it appears to twist across a border in an undulating fashion. Provided 8" tall, but sews out beautifully as small as 5".

AO1006 - Acorn and Oak Interlocking Pantograph

A fast sewing pattern with minimal overstitching creates an overall "diamond" pattern of oak leaves.

Based on traditional oak and acorn quilting patterns, this updated version is fully interlocking when every other row is offset at 50%. The leaves create a diamond shaped pattern around the central acorn motif creating an elegant fill pattern. Minor overstitching on the acorns only make this a fast sewing pattern. Provided 8" tall, but sews out beautifully from 5" to 12".

AO1007 - Blooming Thistle Interlocking Pantograph

A fast sewing pattern with minimal overstitching creates an overall "diamond" pattern of oak leaves.

Based on traditional thistle quilting patterns, this updated version is fully interlocking when every other row is offset at 50%. The leaves create a diamond shaped leave pattern around the central thistle motif creating an elegant fill pattern. Minor overstitching on the thistle only make this a fast sewing pattern. Provided 8" tall, but sews out beautifully from 5" to 12".

AO1008 - Simple Ribbon Pantograph 1

Our continuously sewn ribbon pattern is great for borders or in between rows of mofifs.

Simple Ribbons is a traditional style pattern that creates a great border or spacer for your quilt. Use in conjuction with motifs and other pantographs to create a unique look. Looks great in a variety of sizes and can be stretched lengthwise or widthwise and still look great! Provided at 6" and 3" in all formats.

AO1009 - Double Scallop - All Over or Border Pattern

3 unique variations on the traditional clam shell pattern - small amounts of overstitching

These three variations of Double Scallop are a great way to create the look of arches with a simple finial for borders, or offset by 25% to create a nesting pattern. Patterns are supplied 5 inches high but can effectively be sewn out slightly smaller or up to 10" tall.

AO1010 - Freehand Narrow Tulip Border or All Over

A fast sewing narrow border pattern or all over pattern reminiscent of Free motion quilting

This fast sewing pattern gives the look of free motion quilting with no crossing lines or overstitching. Used as an all over pattern this pattern nests beautifully and the repetition is not distracting. Sews out well as small as 2 inches and as large as 8 inches.
